The Curated Greenhouse
Plants are such an amazing way to enjoy the beauty of nature within your space, whether it’s in your home, office, or elsewhere. Our new line lets you enjoy your favorite Wild Interiors® plants in a much smaller size! We have taken some of our favorite curated varieties - philodendrons, alocasias, and more, growing them in a smaller 3” pot and packing them inside our self-contained tubes. This allows you to bring them home, nurture them as they grow, and repot them until they become as big or bigger than your 5” plants! Nothing showcases your growth more than nurturing a mini plant and growing it full size!
How to care for your mini plant
Just like our larger plants, your tiny plants need similar attention and care. When you bring your Curated Greenhouse home, you have the option of keeping your plant inside the tube or taking it out. If you keep it inside, with the lid on, the tube acts as a miniature greenhouse, helping retain moisture, reducing watering needs and keeping the plant smaller for longer. As for light and temperature, those should remain the same whether you keep the plant inside the tube or not.
Water – Since there is a small amount of soil in these pots, check your soil daily and water when the soil surface is dry. Do not overwater or allow plants to sit in water.
Light – Keep your plant in bright, indirect lighting.
Temperature – Keep your plant in a room where temperatures are between 65 and 85 degrees.
Repotting – There is no need to repot immediately, but you can repot your plant once it sprouts a new leaf. Scroll down to see a video with more detailed repotting instructions.
About our Unique Varieties
Here at Wild Interiors® we always strive to offer unique and exciting plants to add to your collection. We want our plants to inspire your growth as a plant parent!
Sarah Humke, Wild Interiors® head of Research and Development, shares her enthusiasm for The Curated Greenhouse collection; “I’m really excited about The Curated Greenhouse collection, as it allows plant parents the chance to raise some new and exciting varieties from a younger stage in their growth.”
“The experience of growing plants and seeing their first fenestrated leaves and knowing that you were able to grow them to their fully mature form is gratifying. It’s a journey that we wanted everyone to be able to share in, not just those of us working in our greenhouses.”
So, whether you’re new to plants, an experienced plant parent, or just someone looking to grow their collection, The Curated Greenhouse is the perfect option to help you achieve all of your plant goals! After all, like so many of your dreams, these plants start small and grow big!
